Start Posting Your Recipes Online

Start posting all your favourite recipes online by simply creating an account free of charge, then just log-in and start posting recipes straight onto the website. Alternatively, you can go to the contact us page and send us your recipes or email us at post@recipeexchange.co.za , we will post it on to the website for you.
We have put just a few recipes on the website at this point, but with all our viewers adding their recipes, we will soon have a collection of many delicious recipes.
You can also add comments to recipes. Log-in, find a recipe you just tried and tell us what you think about it or give us some tips on your experience.

CARAMEL POPCORN

Caramel Popcorn.                

  • Large dish of popped pop corn kernels                   
  • 4 tbsp butter.                          
  • 4 tbsp brown sugar.                
  • 4 tbsp golden syrup.

 

  1. Melt the above in a saucepan stirring occasionally.
  2. Remove from heat once melted.  
  3. Put 1/2 tsp baking powder, mix well.
  4. Pour over the popcorn and mix, making sure all popcorn is mixed into the caramel.    
  5. Line a baking tray with foil n bake in preheated oven on very low for about 2 hrs mixing in between so it doesn't stick.

Simply divine!

CRUNCHIES

Crunchies

  1. Dissolve 2tsp bicarb in 4Tblsp boiling water.
  2. Add 2Tblsp golden syrup n allow to cool.

Mix together:

  • 2cups flour
  • 2cups sugar
  • 2cups coconut
  • 2cups jungle oats
  • N rub in 250g butter.
  1. Mix in golden syrup mixture wid flour mix.
  2. Roll into balls.
  3. Bake @ 180 for 15-20mins

STEAK TAGLIATELLE WITH MUSHROOM SUACE

Steak Tagliatelle with Mushroom sauce 

  • 1 kg steak fillet
  • 1 tsp crushed garlic
  • 1 tsp crushed green chillies
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1 tsp english mustard
  • 1/2 tsp lemon pepper
  • Tomato sauce
  • Soya sauce
  • Worcestor sauce

Marinate for a few hours and fry in butter

Mushroom sauce:

  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic
  • 1/2 tsp green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp aromat
  • Thyme and origanum to taste
  • Ground black pepper
  • 2 tbs mayonnaise
  • 1 cup fresh cream
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • I punnet mushrooms sliced
  1. Saute onion in butter until soft ,add spices and mayo.
  2.  Add mushrooms, when almost dry add sour cream and fresh cream and let it cook a little
  3. Grate 2 potatoes and fry
  4. Boil 14 bundles of spinach tagliatelle and drain
  5. Layer steak in plate,then pasta,then mushroom sauce and top with fried potato crisps. Serve immediately.

ROEKS PRAWNS PASTA

 Roeks Prawn Pasta - Just like Luna Blu He Man Pasta

500g Prawns( Shelled and Cleaned)
1 tsp Gorimas Chillie Garlic paste 1 tsp Lemon Pepper
1 tsp Chilli Powder
1 tsp Salt
3 Tbsp Lemon Juice
3 Tbsp Tomato Puree
2 Tbsp Mayonnaise
2 Tbsp Butter
125 ml Fresh/Pouring Cream
Bell Pepper (Red and Green)

Marinate Prawns in all ingredients except Butter and Cream for 1 hour
Boil Pasta and Keep aside
Heat Butter in a non stick Pan and cook Prawns on high for 4 minutes
Add Red and Green Peppers (Julienne)
Marinade should Reduce but not dry out completely
Lastly Add Cream and throw in Pasta
Transfer to a Casserole Dish
Grate Fresh Parmesan Over
Serve Immediately

NB.I sauted 1small onion 1st wit lil crushed garlic,den added 1ground tomato with lil crushed chillies..den I added da marinated prawns

CHOCOLATE OIL CAKE

Chocolate Oil Cake

4 eggs

1 cup castor sugar

1/2 cup oil,

3/4 cup boiling water mixed with 3 Tbsp cocoa

1 1/4 cup flour

2 tsp baking powder.


Beat eggs & sugar till white & fluffy, then add in oil, water & cocoa mixture,sifted flour & baking powder - just fold in on low speed.


For Bar One topping:

3 Bar one choc

1/3 tin nestle cream  

Heat on stove till smooth.
